@MacLemon
Pocket has the advantage of benefiting from Firefox' reader mode and properly showing the article content.
I acknowledge that Wallabag isn't as mature as Pocket is and can botch content fetching. But there are folks prioritizing privacy over convenience who may prefer to self host Wallabag and give up on unique features and polish of Pocket.

Even if Wallabag app may fail to show article content, it is a good bookmark manager with tag support.

Those looking for Mozilla Pocket alternative will find right at home with @wallabag . Wallabag is a FOSS alternative which you can host on your private server or use subscription based paid service by Wallabag.it

If you are using @yunohost, Wallabag is few clicks away to install and use. There is a Wallabag mobile app on @fdroidorg as well.

Happy new year everyone 馃帀

For that first release of that (hopefully) better year than 2020, we have fixed some bugs.

@wallabag I self hosted an instance over the weekend and I love it so far. One feature I couldn't find in the API that existed in the UI was exporting "tagged"(unread, tagged etc) content as a single file (PDF, mobi, epub etc.)

I'd love to see this to create a workflow where I can generate a week's unread articles into a mobi and email it to my Kindle. Would it be possible to add? (I don't have PHP knowhow to develop this myself.)

After years of not checking my old @wallabag 1.x instance, I now installed Wallabag 2.x on my @yunohost machine.

Ui looks very polished and Wallabag Android App from @fdroidorg works like a charm. Thanks to the three Projects which made it a 5 minute task to get it running 馃檪馃憤

I'm optimistic I can make my read-it-later more efficient again.

La comodit脿 di usare #wallabag per tenere traccia degli articoli che ti interessa leggere non ha prezzo, se poi lo fai con self hosting con @yunohost meglio ancora 馃檪

Quel. Dommage.

Poll: when you read an article, where do you want to see action buttons? Please reply by choosing your prefered screen in the attached pictures.

1 - the current screen
2 - a sticky top navbar
3 - a menu available at the bottom right (on hover, the items are visible) (two pictures to see the behavior)

Some #wallabag users here ? I would like to know if there is an easy way to find annotations made in some articles? It would be nice to have highlights in the left menu because what's the point to have them if you never come back to see what you wrote :)

Is there a good #wallabag docker image for #arm or should I build my own one?
